Our pest services start with one of our friendly representatives visiting your home or business to assess its size, structural makeup, and setting to identify potential problem areas (such as pest attractors and entry points). There is no charge for this evaluation.
We practice IPM (Integrated Pest Management)
To solve pest problems in the most efficient and eco-friendly way possible, Pineland Pest Control uses procedures outlined by Integrated Pest Management. IPM is a set of common-sense principles that lay out how best to complete pest management actions. These principles include monitoring for pests, identification, deciding thresholds, and then implementing a treatment strategy that could include mechanical, cultural, habitat and chemical control if necessary. Finally, we evaluate the success of the program. IPM exists to eliminate the effects of pesticides on not target organisms. This way, we can provide quality pest services while being ecologically considerate.
Quarterly Pest Control Treatments
Because we practice IPM and focus on where the bugs come from–outside your home–we complete services quarterly. The first service includes a thorough inspection of the interior and exterior along with an exterior treatment. On future visits, we will treat the exterior perimeter of your home–again, focusing on where the bugs come from. We only treat the interior if an issue arises to eliminate the potential of pesticide exposure.
Safe, friendly implementation
Our friendly pest management technicians will visit your home on a quarterly schedule to provide the pest services agreed upon during your initial visit. If you notice any pest problems between regularly scheduled services, contact us, and we’ll come out for an additional service at no charge. Our work is guaranteed.
